Segway f3 pro not turning on and motor barely moves

Hi, so this is my friend's f3 pro and honestly he rides like a total pig. He said that after a bump, his scooter turned off and the motor started vibrating a lot. And when I took it home, I disconnected the motor from the controller and it moved perfectly fine, but when I connected it back, it again started locking and barely moving. Any ideas what broke?
