Help with Mystery Issue!

Ein Reddit-Post mit dem Titel "Help with Mystery Issue!". Okay! Let's get into this. i have a Hiboy ECOM 14 that has a weird issue.

History: This scooter belonged to an old lady who used it for like 1 month to get around. After the month ended, the tire popped so she had to replace the rear inner tube. she said she sent it to a motorcycle shop to try and fix it which apparently they did but in putting it back together, the new one popped. Since then, it was sitting inside a crate outside for about 1 year. Fast forward to today, she told me I can keep it if I can fix it.

Symptoms: The scooter displays error code E1 when turned on. The brakes and brake lights on both sides work. When I try to press the throttle, it'll make a high pitched noise coming from what I believe is the rear wheel motor. If I put it in performance mode, it'll make a very very quick motor sound for like a half second then make the high pitched sound again. No rotation during this. I have attached photos.
